# Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every purchase made through runvier.co.za. Please read them before you order, because placing an order means you accept them.

## What we sell
Branded VIER kit: technical shirts, caps and similar items. Each product page shows a description, the available sizes and the full price in South African Rand.
VIER itself is an unofficial, self-supported trail series with no entry fee. Nothing on this website sells entry to a round, and buying kit gives you no entry, no place in the series and no right to participate.
## Prices
All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay, including any delivery charge, with no hidden additions.
We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we will contact you and cancel or refund the order rather than deliver at that price.
## Placing an order
An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm the order by email. If we cannot supply an item, for example because a size has sold out, we will tell you and refund that item in full.
Kit is produced in limited runs around the series calendar. Stock is genuinely limited and we do not backorder unless we say so on the product page.
## Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
**Electronic funds transfer.** Your order is reserved when you place it and confirmed when the money reflects in our account. Use your order number as the payment reference. Orders unpaid after [7] days are cancelled and the stock released.
**Card payment.** Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider on their own secure systems. We never see, receive or store your card number.
## Getting your kit
**Collection at a round.** Free. Bring your order number. Your kit will be at the start or finish area of the round you choose at checkout. This is the normal option and the one we recommend.
**Courier delivery.** Charged at the rate shown at checkout, to South African addresses only. Expect 3 to 7 working days once the order is paid and the item is in stock. We will send you a tracking number where the courier provides one.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection.
## Sizing
Sizes are given on each product page. Technical running kit fits closer than everyday clothing, so read the size guide before ordering. Wrong-size exchanges are covered in our Refunds and Returns Policy (/refunds-and-returns/).
## Cancellations and returns
Your rights, including the seven-day cooling-off period for online purchases, are set out in full in our Refunds and Returns Policy(/refunds-and-returns/), which forms part of these terms.
## Your information
We handle your personal information as described in our [Privacy Policy](/privacy-policy/).
## Security
This site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Payments are processed by an external provider using their own security procedures. We keep no card data of any kind on this website.
## Limits on our responsibility
We are responsible for supplying the kit you paid for, in the condition described. We are not responsible for indirect losses, and nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
Participation in a VIER round is entirely separate from any purchase on this site, is self-supported and unofficial, and is at each runner’s own risk under the separate series indemnity.
## Disputes
Talk to us first. Email hello@runvier.co.za and we will try to sort it out directly, which is almost always faster than anything formal.
If that fails, you may refer the matter to the National Consumer Commission or an applicable ombud. These terms are governed by South African law.
## Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
